At this meeting, Mr. Marinos and the team reviewed the current progress of the School Protection sub programme, which undertakes the mitigation works of 18 schools in Kandy Districts those are under the threat of the unstable slope failures. Moreover, progress review was done on landslide mitigation work of the Road Continuity sub Programme of the CRIP i.e. unstable slope protection of Kandy-Mahiyangana road and other key RDA roads. The meeting was a success and the project was able to discuss about the issues with related to those sub programmes and to ascertain practical solutions for those issues.
